2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information solely to:
- Connect you with your partner using a secure connection code
- Deliver real-time notifications when content is shared
- Display shared content in your inbox
- Show read/unread status of messages
- Provide the core functionality of the extension
3. Data Storage and Security
- Storage: All data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Firestore Database)
- Access: Only you and your connected partner can access your shared content
- Encryption: Data is transmitted using secure HTTPS connections
- Retention: Data remains until you disconnect or manually delete it
4. Third-Party Services

- Google Firebase: For authentication, database storage, and real-time synchronization

- Disconnect: You can disconnect from your partner at any time, which removes connection data
- Delete: Messages remain in history but can be cleared by disconnecting
- Access: You can view all your shared content in the extension inbox
- Uninstall: Uninstalling the extension removes local data, but shared content remains in Firebase
7. Permissions
The extension requests the following permissions:
- contextMenus: To add right-click menu options for sharing content
- notifications: To notify you when your partner shares something
- storage: To store connection information and preferences locally
- activeTab: To access the current page URL when sharing web pages
We only use these permissions for their stated purposes and do not access any other data.
8. Children's Privacy
ThinkingOfYou is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
- Notify users through the extension if there are significant changes

10. International Users
ThinkingOfYou is available worldwide. By using our service, you consent to the transfer of your information to Google Firebase servers, which may be located in different countries.
